Welcome to Poole's Pony Pottery - home of the largest collection of commercially made ceramic horse molds in the Southern Hemisphere!  If you like Beswick, Pour Horse, Cheval, Hagen-Renaker etc, you will love our Earthenware Ceramic Horse Sculptures.  Each one is individually hand-made one at a time by Debbie Poole, either from one of our vast range of commercially produced Ceramic molds, or from one of our own Limited Edition molds (masters and molds made by Debbie).  They are then painstakingly finished in a variety of finishes by Debbie - airbrushed high-end underglazes for realistic colours, patterns and markings, finished with diamond gloss or soft satin (muted sheen) glaze; special effects and arts glazes for that decorator touch; also one-off fantasy pieces like "Tiger" horses and dramatic lustred pieces!  As this is a small hobby business and therefore subject to time restrictions, unpainted bisque is no longer available to order - only on an "as finished/ready to ship" basis.  We always strive  to  have finished items in both more affordable and basic colourways, as well as more dramatic and intricate colours/finishes available for sale via this website - follow the links to our online stores.  We also offer bas-relief plates and other giftware items finished in various decorator and art glazes. These make lovely wall hangings or collector plates as well as trophy items. We are continually adding to our range, - especially this line. Horse head itaglios, bas-reliefs, busts and trinket boxes from our own masters are currently in progress. One-of-a-kind glazed horse sculptures suitable for special trophies are orderable - please inquire.
